MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005546 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 27, 2024, for 'modular camping assistive device for four-wheeler vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Manish Sharma; Vikasdeep Mann; and Anikate Kumar.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a modular camping assistive device for four-wheeler vehicle, comprising a frame 1 developed to be installed on front portion of a four-wheeler, plurality of suction units 2 integrated on the frame 1 for adhering frame 1 on front portion of vehicle, an imaging unit 3 installed on the frame 1 to determine obstacles, a plate 4 arranged on the frame 1 by means of a pair of telescopically operated rods 5 for extending the plate 4 as per dimension of front portion of vehicle, an inflatable layer 6 fabricated on the plate 4 to prevent collision from obstacle and a stretchable fabric 7 linked on the plate 4 to prevent dust accumulation while covering the vehicle."
