MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019641 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 16, 2024, for 'modular food storage and serving assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular food storage and serving assistive device includes a body 1 arranged with multiple sections 3 for storing particular kind of food-items, a lid 4 arranged on each sections 3 opens for allowing a user to fill sections 3, an imaging unit 5 determines kind of food-items, a speaker 6 guide first user to store solid and non-solid items, a display panel 7 accessed by first user to input name of each stored items and corresponding ingredients that are exhibited over a LED (light emitting diode) screen 8 integrated on each sections 3, multiple Peltier units 10 integrated within each sections 3 maintain hot/cold temperature of stored items, an nozzle 12 arranged on sections 3 dispenses non-solid items, a level sensor monitors level of items accordingly sliding unit(s) 14 translates mounted flap 13 for accumulating items towards one side of sections 3."
