MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023558 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'modular head covering device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Loknath Samanta; and Dr. Dharmendra Singh Tomar.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular head covering device, comprising a wearable component 1 worn at back portion of a user's neck, a motorized roller 2 coiled with a looped strap 3 for securing component 1 on user's neck, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 monitors operation performed by user, a telescopically operated rod 5 gets extended/retracted for positioning a curved member 6 over user's forehead, plurality of extendable pins 7 get engaged with user's hairs for preventing user's hair to come onto user's face, a pair of curved structure 8 is deployed to cover user's ears, and an extendable sheet 9 is installed underneath component 1 that is actuated to extend/retract sheet 9 at user's back in order to prevent staining of color on user's back."
