MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005475 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 27, 2024, for 'modular learning assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Amrita Singh; Vinesh Kumari; Aarju; and Rini Saxena.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular learning assistive device includes a frame 1 positioned via multiple rods 2, a display panel 3 to input requirement of a white/black board, an imaging-unit 4 determines user's height accordingly rods 2 extends/retracts for positioning frame 1 up-to user's height, a button 5 accessed by user for changing inclination angle of frame 1, accordingly rods 2 extend/retract up-to varying heights, two sliding units 7 integrated with a roller 8 wrapped with a writing sheet 9 having a black and white surfaces, roller 8 unwraps sheet 9 having user-desired surface gripped by two clippers 10 integrated on sliding units 7 that translate clippers 10 for establishing surface over frame 1, an plate 11 extends for providing a hard surface underneath sheet 9, an optical character recognition module 12 determines misspelled content accordingly directs emitter 13 to project laser light on misspelled word."
