MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005862 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 29, 2024, for 'modular remote controller storage device.'
Inventor(s) include Neha Gupta; Richa Mehta; Manbir Brar; and Jaspal Kaur.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular remote controller storage device, comprises of a body 1 positioned over a fixed surface via plurality of telescopically operated L-shaped rods 2, a multi-sectioned chamber 6 integrated with a LED for depicting occupancy and guiding the user to position remote-controller in chamber 6, a primary imaging unit 4 for detecting positioning of remote-controller, a slidable lid 8 integrated on chamber 6 to open and allow a user to access the remote-controller, a dust sensor to detect presence of dust on the remote-controller, a telescopically operated link 10 integrated with a rotatable brush 11 to clean the remote-controller, a touch interactive display panel 3 accessed by the user to provide input for withdrawal or battery charging of remote-controller, a motorized gripper to disengage battery from the remote-controller and arranging another battery in the remote-controller."
