MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025987 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'modular remotes storage vehicles.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular remotes storage vehicles, comprising a body 1 positioned on a ground surface, arranged with a touch interactive display panel 2 that is accessed by a user for providing input regarding storage of different types of remotes, a lid 3 is opened by a motorized hinge joint, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 determines kind of remotes, an OCR (optical character recognition) module determines title on remote, multiple motorized clamping units 6 grip remote to accommodate remote within body 1, a microphone 7 receives voice command of user regarding withdrawing of a particular remote from body 1 and accordingly clamping unit 5 pop-out remote over body 1 to facilitate user to take remote, a robotic arm 8 positions a C-shaped member 9 near button, an ultrasonic sensor detects dimensions of button, a motorized ball and socket joint 10 positions stuck button properly within button."
