MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022868 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 23, 2024, for 'modular visor for car windows.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A modular visor for car windows, comprising an elongated frame 1 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, suction cups 2 are to adhere to the surface for securing the frame 1, motorized hinges 4 for tilting the plates 3 for allowing the frame 1 to get properly accommodated above the window, motorized slider 6 to deploy a vertical flap 5, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 7 for capturing multiple images in vicinity of the frame 1 to determine direction of the rain, motorized hinge joint 8 to adjust angle of the vertical flap 5, motorized roller 9 to unwrap sheet for deploying the sheet on the window, telescopically operated L-shaped rod 10 for positioning a bar 12 having plurality of pins 13 near the deposited snow and motorized ball and socket joint 11 to provide movement to the pins 13 for pushing the deposited snow."
