Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Molds And Dies Including Surface Coatings' Filed by Maxterial, Inc.

MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517066993 A) filed by Maxterial, Inc., Pleasanton, U.S.A., on July 14, for 'molds and dies including surface coatings.'

Inventor(s) include Haghdoost, Atieh; Kargar, Mehdi.; Ilgar, Ersan; and Church, Daniel.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Molds and dies with surface coatings are described. A surface of the mold or die that, contacts a material to be processed can include a surface coating. The surface coating can include many different materials and may include a metal or metal alloy such as, for example, a molybdenum alloy or a tungsten alloy coating."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 16, 2023, under International application No.PCT/US2023/084474.
