MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527075499 A) filed by Mitsubishi Electric Mobility Corporation, Tokyo, on Aug. 8, for 'motor control device.'

Inventor(s) include Mori Tatsuya; Harada Shingo; Ishikawa Kosuke; Fujimoto Chiaki; Tokura Yugo; and Matsushita Masaki.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention comprises an inverter that supplies power to a motor and a controller that controls the motor and outputs a command signal to the inverter, wherein the controller includes: a current command value calculator that calculates a current command value in the rotating frame of the motor; a voltage command value calculator that calculates a fundamental wave command value, which is a voltage command value in the rotating frame of the motor, by means of feedback control over the current command value; a cancellation calculator that calculates a cancellation voltage command value for suppressing torque pulsation in the motor and for suppressing the influence of disturbances on the motor, on the basis of an objective current, which is either the current command value or the motor current flowing through the motor, and the rotor position of the motor; and a PWM signal generator that generates the command signal to be output to the inverter by using an added fundamental wave command value in which the cancellation voltage command value is added to the fundamental wave command value."

The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 22, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/011084.
