MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013762 A) filed by TVS Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Feb. 26, 2024, for 'mounting assembly for a vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A vehicle (100) comprising a front cabin (118) for a driving unit of the vehicle (100), a rear cabin (119) for a passenger seat assembly (112) and a storage portion (222) of 5 the vehicle (100), and a mounting assembly (300) which is configured for mounting one or more loads (206). The mounting assembly comprising one or more mounting members (400) which is configured to be connected to a pre-defined region of the passenger seat assembly (112). Further, the one or more loads (206) is configured to be portably mounted in the storage portion (222) of the rear cabin (119) of the vehicle 10 (100). Furthermore, the storage portion (222) is disposed behind a backrest (209) of the passenger seat assembly (112)."
