MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012988 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'multi-axial marking assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Jaswinder Kaur.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A multi-axial marking assistive device, comprising a body 1 and arranged with multiple motorized wheels 2 for moving the body 1 on the surface, a display panel 3 provides input regarding dimensions of a fitting, an imaging unit 4 determines area of the surface, a telescopically operated L-shaped rod 6 arranged on body 1 for positioning multiple plates 5, an angle sensor is monitors angle of each of plates 5, a motorized ball and socket joint 7 integrated in between each of plates 5 to provide angular movement to plates 5, wherein ends of plates 5 are integrated with a circular disc 8 which are positioned at edges of the evaluated pattern, a tactile sensor monitors material of surface and accordingly one of multiple tools integrated on periphery of disc 8 get oriented in contacted with surface to cast an impression depicting marking of edges."
