MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010784 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'multipurpose water dispensing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Rachin Goyal; Akashdeep Singh; Amandeep Singh; Bharav Bansal; and Amritpal Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A multipurpose water dispensing device, comprising a hollow cylindrical shaped body 1 positioned in between a pair of pipes for joining of pipes in a secured manner, a touch interactive display panel 2 accessed by a user to enter details regarding of flow rate of fluid, a flow sensor integrated within body 1 for determining flow rate of fluid, an iris aperture 3 installed within body 1 for controlling flow of fluid as per user desired flow rate, a temperature sensor integrated within body 1 for determining temperature of fluid, a Peltier unit installed on valve for controlling temperature of fluid, a fluid quality sensor integrated within body 1 for determining quality of fluid, and an UV filtration unit 4 for removing unwanted micro bio-organisms from fluid thereby dispensing a filtered fluid as per requirement of user."
