MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202431022156 A) filed by Santanu Chattopadhyay, Gobardanga, West Bengal, on March 22, 2024, for 'multiuse air changer.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The multiuse air changer is a utility model, it can be movable or immovable types it may be floor standing (movable) or wall and ceiling mounted (immovable type) with an electronically control air cooling, heating, dehumidification, humidification, air purification in single unit to minimize the cost of energy and to solve multiple solution in a mobile and fixed unit and can be used in both indoor and outdoor. The upper unit is the air delivery unit with control panel and display, the main 102 air delivery unit fitted with the 104 air dampers it can be general or motorized. The main 108 air blowing unit, 109 evaporating pad, 110 water mixing unit with sprayers, 111 evaporator coil cold and hot sections or 112 dry heating elements, 113 prefilter for air inlet, 114 air inlet vents. The 107 is the air humidifier unit. The middle part of the device is mainly for cooling and heating system, 115 the cooling water tank, 116 heating water tank and 117 a small food storage is shown from the front. In the middle part mainly the 118 refrigeration compressor and circuit is fitted with 119 evaporator coils and 120 condenser unit. The additional 121 air filtration or 122 dehumidifiers can also be fitted in the middle, lower or backside of the unit for indoor uses. The lower part consists 123 main water tank with 123A water pump, 124 battery storage unit, 125 pre filtration unit, 126 chemical dehumidification unit, 127 water collecting and drainage system 128 water connection port with levelling stands and 130 wheels."
