MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411027657 A) filed by Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on April 3, 2024, for 'nanobead biopolymer scaffolds and preparation method thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an affordable and user-friendly method of manufacturing fibrous nanobead biopolymer scaffolds. In the present invention, a novel approach for the fabrication of biopolymer fibrous nano bead scaffolds. In the present innovation we used paint spray gun at 50 psi air pressure for the fabrication of Poly Lactic-co-Glycolic Acid (PLGA). This investigation showed that this manufacturing method of nano scaffolds is far more affordable and user-friendly than using more conventional techniques like electrospinning and 3D printing."
