MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517056616 A) filed by Firmenich Sa, Satigny, Switzerland, on June 12, for 'natural sweetener compositions and uses thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Fieber, Wolfgang; and Beaussoubre, Pascal.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to the field of natural sweetener compositions useful in the flavor industry. More particularly, it concerns a composition comprising a natural sweetener selected from the group consisting of steviol glycosides, mogrosides, and any mixture thereof, and a solvent mixture comprising A) propylene glycol or glycerol; B) one or more solvents having Hansen Solubility Parameters dp and dh higher than dp and dh, respectively, of the solvent chosen as solvent A; and C) one or more solvents having Hansen Solubility Parameters dp and dh lower than dp and dh, respectively, of the solvent chosen as solvent A. The present disclosure further relates to the use of the said composition in consumer products, such as flavored products."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 07, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/084678.
