MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517073387 A) filed by Nippon Steel Corporation, Tokyo, on Aug. 1, for 'non-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet.'
Inventor(s) include Sugiura, Natsuko; Murakawa, Tesshu; Ota, Shun; and Tanaka, Ichiro.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a non-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet comprising, in terms of mass%, not more than 0.0100% of C, 1.50-4.00% of Si, 0.0001-1.0% of sol. Al, not more than 0.0100% of S, not more than 0.0100% of N, not less than 0.10% of Mn, and a total of less than 2.50% of one or more elements selected from among Mn, Ni, and Cu, wherein the transformation temperature Arsub3/sub( C) is 750-1050 C, the sheet thickness is not more than 0.50 mm and the {411}011 random intensity ratio at a 1/2 sheet thickness part is not less than 4.0."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 09, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/000131.
