MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517048984 A) filed by Unicharm Corporation, Shikokuchuo, Japan, on May 21, for 'nonwoven fabric sheet and absorbent article.'
Inventor(s) include Nomoto, Takashi; Kimura, Akihiro; Detani, Ko; Noguchi, Atsushi; and Etoh, Yumi.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A nonwoven fabric sheet (3) is for use in an absorbent article (1), and is characterized by: including a plurality of fibers (3f) comprising latently-crimped fibers; by having a linear high-density section (DH) in which the density of the fibers (3f) is higher than that in the periphery the high-density section; the high-density section (DH) having a thickness less than that of the periphery thereof; and the plurality of fibers (3f) not being fused together in the high-density section."
