The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention includes method & apparatus to do voice conference between large groups of users situated across multiple networks connected via low bandwidth Radio links. In the current method all the parties inside a network are treated as single zone and each zone is provisioned with a conference bridge controller. Using Bridge controller at each zone all the local parties RTP stream will mixed into a single RTP stream and will be broadcasted to all other radios. This ensures only single voice channel is used over radio links unlike in the normal multicast conference where voice stream from each party is sent across the other network via radio. This scheme consumes only 1 voice channel irrespective of number of parties joined to local conference controller."
