MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411011287 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 19, 2024, for 'object carriage device for four-wheeler vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An object carriage device for four-wheeler vehicle, comprising an elongated extendable body 1 having a first end 2 configured with a platform 4 adhered underneath rear portion of vehicle and a second end 3 installed with an extendable plate 5, a C-shaped member 6 is configured with body 1 over which object is placed, plurality of electromagnets configured with platform 4 for adhering platform 4 with rear portion, a camera 7 for detecting dimensions of object, based on which body 1 is extended for maintaining optimum distance between object and rear portion, a motorized hinge 8 configured between body 1 and tilting member 6 for gripping object between member 6, plate 5, and body 1, and plurality of pneumatic pins 9 configured with member 6 for making grip over object to prevent slippage of object from member 6 while carrying of object through vehicle."
