MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010157 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'object carrying assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Sunil Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An object carrying assistive device, comprises of a frame 1 having a pair of hydraulic rods 2 positioned on a ground surface arranged with a display panel 3 accessed by a user to input a location where object is to be carried, a GPS module to detect real-time location of frame 1, an imaging unit 4 to detect dimension of the object and then, the rods 2 extend as per the height of object, a motorized pulley 6 to position a locking hook 7 integrated on a cable 10 to engage the object and then, the pulley 6 uplifts the object, multiple wheels 9 attached with a T-shaped supporting unit 8 arranged with rods 2 to maneuver frame 1 to user-defined location, an ultrasonic sensor to detect height of stairs and a sliding unit 5 to extend and move the object forward towards the determined path."
