MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023133 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 24, 2024, for 'object relocation assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An object relocation assistive device, comprises of a rectangular telescopic frame 1 having front and back portion positioned on ground, a V-shaped extendable member 3 configured with a hitch 4 to connect frame 1 with rear portion of wheel, an extendable container 5 accommodates object to be carried, an imaging unit 6 captures images of the object, multiple weight sensors monitors weight distribution of the object over the container 5, a tension sensor monitor force exerted over the member 3 while towing of the frame 1, a weather module monitor wind speed and rain in surroundings, a motorized roller 7 rotates to unwrap the sheet, a pair of motorized sliding units 8 translates motorized gripper 9, motorized gripper 9 grip free end of the unwrapped sheet, a proximity sensor monitors distance of any approaching vehicle/animal."
