MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441036417 A) filed by Kevin Paul JA, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, on May 8, 2024, for 'occupational safety enhancement helmet for coal miners.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The Coal Mine Occupational Safety and Health Management and Risk Control System was developed to achieve the aforementioned objectives, namely promoting the coal mine occupational safety and health management based on early warning and dynamic monitoring of risks. This paper examines the occupational safety and health management techniques as well as risk control technology associated with the coal mining industry, including daily management of occupational safety. In addition, an analysis is conducted on the software package's actual effectiveness and the related pattern when it comes to coal mining. According to the study, occupational safety and health management initiatives in coal mines may be supported in a standardized and efficient manner by already available risk control, occupational safety and health management, and related software. Additionally, it can efficiently and scientifically)' reduce the risk of accidents; when applied properly, it can also strengthen risk management strategies and the system for managing occupational safety and health in coal mines. Furthermore, its use shows that risk control and occupational safety and health management technology have been developed on the basis of a benign cycle including dynamic feedback and scientific advancement, which may offer a 'trustworthy guarantee for the safe operation of coul mines."
