MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414018596 A) filed by Adama Makhteshim Ltd., Beer Sheva, Israel, on March 14, 2024, for 'oil-based dispersion compositions of solid particulate hygroscopic or water-soluble pesticides.'
Inventor(s) include Dahan Yogev.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Oil-Based Dispersion Compositions of Hygroscopic and/or Water-Soluble Pesticides in particular Oil-Based Dispersion Compositions. The present invention relates to non-aqueous suspension compositions such as oil-based dispersion compositions of solid water-soluble and/or hygroscopic or solvent-absorbing pesticidal compounds in solid particulate form, most notably Oil-Based Pymetrozine Dispersion Compositions. The present invention especially relates to methods for optimizing the characteristics, ease of manufacture, and physical stability of Oil-Based Pymetrozine Dispersion concentrated compositions which maintain their dispersibility in water over periods of storage. The present invention provides guidance as to the individual improvements achievable by using specific disclosed classes of non-pesticidally active, formulation aids and the collective enhanced optimization achievable by inclusion of combinations the classes of formulation aids disclosed. The present invention also relates to optimizing the processes for the preparation of Oil-Based Pymetrozine Dispersion Compositions comprising the steps of adding, stirring, milling, collecting, homogenizing and typically, packaging."
