MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341087613 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Dec. 21, 2023, for 'oral hygiene management assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Sujayaraj Samuel Jayakumar.

The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An oral hygiene management assistive device includes a platform 1 affixed on a wall and installed with multiple plates 2 stored with toothbrush, a clamp 3 configured with each plates 2 for gripping toothbrush, a screen 4 for inputting regrading accessing toothbrush and selecting desired toothpaste, a fingerprint sensor 5 for determining plate 2 stored with user's toothbrush, a camera 6 for detecting user's height, a rack and pinion arrangement 7 configured between each of plates 2 and platform 1 for translating plate 2 in user's proximity, clamp 3 actuates for releasing toothbrush, a chamber 8 stored with different toothpaste-tubes, a gripper 9 for positioning mouth portion of toothpaste-tube in a hole 10 carved on plate 2, an rod 11 installed with each of plate 2 via a slider 12, for translating rod 11 towards toothpaste tube to squeezed out toothpaste from tube that is collected by user on toothbrush."
