According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed herein is a system (100) of orthopaedic healing and monitoring, the system (100) comprising an orthopaedic cast device (102) with a cast body (108) applied at the injury site to provide structural support and supports embedding of components of orthopaedic cast device (102); a pressure sensor (112) to detect abnormal pressure buildup; a temperature sensor (114) to detect increase in temperature at the site of the injury; and a healing progress sensor (116).
