According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed herein is a system (100) of orthopaedic healing and monitoring, the system (100) comprising an orthopaedic cast device (102) with a cast body (108) applied at the injury site to provide structural support and supports embedding of components of orthopaedic cast device (102); a pressure sensor (112) to detect abnormal pressure buildup; a temperature sensor (114) to detect increase in temperature at the site of the injury; and a healing progress sensor (116). The system further includes a processing unit (118) comprising an activation module (122), input module (124), a preprocessing module (126), a comparison module (128), and interpretation module (130) and an output module (134) configured to collect, analyse, and transmit sensor data; a communication network (104) for seamless encrypted data transmission; and a user device (106) to display real time graphs, healing reports, and alerts to the user."
