MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517043594 A) filed by Kubota Corporation, Osaka, Japan, on May 5, for 'paddy field work machine.'

Inventor(s) include Sawada Koki; and Yamamoto Hinako.

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This paddy work machine is provided with: a height detection unit 50 for detecting a height of a work device from a float 17; and a lifting/lowering control unit for performing an operation to lift/lower the work device with respect to a machine body on the basis of the detection by the height detection unit 50 such that the work device is maintained at a preset height A1 from a paddy surface G. The paddy work machine is provided with a restraining mechanism 67 which is disposed separately from the height detection unit and restrains the float 17 at an upper-limit position and/or a lower-limit position of vertical oscillation thereof with respect to the work device."

The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 13, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/037131.
