MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411071626 A) filed by Council Of Scientific And Industrial Research, New Delhi, on Sept. 20, 2024, for 'pain relief composition.'
Inventor(s) include Ramavatar Meena; Amit Gosai; Kamalesh Prasad; and Kanchan Udata.
The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an oceanic pain relief cream and spray comprising oceanic resources (e.g. oceanic seaweed SAP (OS-SAP), ocean seaweed derived polymer (OSDP), ocean water, ocean halophyte emollient and oceanic minerals) in the combination of active ingredients and Melanin without inducing preservative parabens. The pain relief cream and spray compositionused for body pain management such as joint pain, headache, muscle pain, and back pain. The developed oceanic pain relief composition is super spreadable on application and stable under normal storage conditions up to more than year."
