MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010078 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'parking management system for underground parking space.'
Inventor(s) include Nidhi Saraswat.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A parking management system for underground parking space comprises of a platform 1 configured at an entrance 2 of an underground parking space 3 via a pair of hydraulic rods 4 for raising and lowering of the platform 1, a camera 5 associated with system for capturing multiple images of number plate of a vehicle positioned in front of entrance 2, at least five LED (Light Emitting Diodes) lights 9 crafted on the platform 1 to illuminate an optimum light in the surroundings, a touch enabled screen 6 installed within the parking space 3 for giving input commands to exit the vehicle from the parking space 3, an RTC (Real-Time Clock) module integrated with microcontroller for keeping an accurate track on real-time, and a speaker 7 mounted on the screen 6 for notifying to scan a QR (Quick-Response) code via any electronic payment wallet for making payment of parking."
