MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010744 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'path carving device for ground surface.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A path carving device for ground surface, comprising a cuboidal frame 1 positioned on a ground surface and arranged with a U-shaped handle 2 gripped by user for maneuvering frame 1 on ground surface via multiple omni-directional wheels 3, a pair of cylindrical members 4 each configured with a plate 5 arranged with a circular disc 6 via a rotating arrangement 7 that are equipped with multiple C-shaped blades 8 for cutting snow/grass on surface, a touch enabled screen 9 accessed by user for entering command regarding carving a path on surface along with selecting type of surface, a microcontroller linked with screen 9 that processes user-selection and actuates a motorized iris lid 10 installed with each member 4 to open, a heating unit installed within each blade 8 for melting snow, and a suction unit 12 paired with chamber 13 for sucking and collecting grass/snow in chamber 13."
