According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A paw protection device for animals comprises of, an extendable platform 1 developed to accommodate a paw of a pet animal, a pair of motorized extendable clamps 2 to grip leg of the pet for affixing the platform 1 with the paw, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 3 to determine dimension of the paw, a motorized drawer arrangement 4 to provide extension/retraction to the platform 1 and extendable clamps 2, a friction sensor to monitor friction of ground surface, plurality of pneumatic pins 5 to extend in order to protrude out of the platform 1, multiple cavities in view of increasing friction between the ground surface and platform 1, a strain sensor to determine presence of strain over the paw, a chamber 7 for storing relieving liquid, and an electronic nozzle 6 to dispense a regulated amount of paint relieving liquid over the paw detected with strain."
