MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011167 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'pebble/dust removal and collection device for use in vehicles.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Jayant Ku Nath.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pebble/ dust removal and collection device for use in vehicles, comprising a hollow cuboidal body 101 positioned inside a vehicle, over floor of vehicle, a slidable plate 102 for segregating body 101 into two sections, plurality of links 103 assembled in a crisscross manner for transfer of pebbles and dirt, over plate 102, an imaging unit 104 to detect presence of user's foot over body 101, multiple pneumatic pins 105 to extend for removing trapped pebbles/ dirt present over footwear worn by user while user scrubs footwear against body 101, a sliding arrangement 106 integrated on inner side walls of body 101 for positioning links 103 in a manner to transfer pebbles and dirt over plate 102, a vibrating unit is configured on links 103 for producing vibrations for removal and dispensing of pebbled/ dirt over plate 102."
