MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544006491 A) filed by Sigma Composite, Les Avenieres Veyrins-Thuellin, France, on Jan. 27, for 'people transportation carrier, cable transportation installation.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A cable transportation carrier (2) for transporting people comprises a connector designed to be attached to an aerial cable (3). A frame is fixed to the connector and defines a permanent opening (A) onto the outside. An anchor point (8) is provided and is designed to attach a person equipped with a safety harness with a safety connector (9). The anchor point (8) defines a blocking state and a free state. In the blocking state, the safety connector (9) cannot leave the anchor point (8). In the free state, the safety connector (9) can leave the anchor point (8). A locking device presents a locked state and an unlocked state. In the locked state, the locking device keeps the anchor point in the blocking state. In the unlocked state, the locking device allows the anchor point to switch between the blocking state and the free state."
