MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517060773 A) filed by Caregen Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on June 25, for 'peptide for cartilage regeneration, and uses thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Chung, Yong Ji; Kim, Eun Mi; Yeon, Jeong Tae; and Cho, Hyun Joo.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application relates to a peptide having cartilage regeneration effects, and uses thereof, and provides: a peptide comprising an amino acid sequence represented by Glu(E)-Tyr(Y)-Phe(F)-Trp(W) or Arg(R)-Thr(T)-Leu(L); a composition for cartilage regeneration comprising the peptide; and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cartilage diseases, comprising the composition for cartilage regeneration as an active ingredient."
