Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Peptide With Activity Of Promoting Hair Growth Or Mitigating Hair Loss And Use Thereof' Filed by Caregen Co. Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202537098980 A) filed by Caregen Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Oct. 14, for 'peptide with activity of promoting hair growth or mitigating hair loss and use thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Chung, Yong Ji; Kim, Eun Mi; and Lee, Eung Ji.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application relates to a peptide with hair growth promoting activity and a use thereof, and provides: a peptide comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1; a cosmetic composition containing the peptide for promoting hair growth and mitigating hair loss; and a pharmaceutical composition containing the peptide for preventing or treating hair loss."
