Methods include identifying tremors and providing a low intensity FUS having one or more ultrasound parameters to a location on the peripheral nerve, and modulating the peripheral nerve thereby inhibiting tremor. The methods can further include a closed loop system which can continuously track tremor frequency and provide FUS 360 modulation only when required. Systems for use in the modulation of peripheral nerves are also provided."
