MUMBAI, India, Jan. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541123665 A) filed by Manipal Academy Of Higher Education, Manipal, Karnataka, on Dec. 8, 2025, for 'perpetual-propulsion vehicle system and method thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Krishnananda Prabhu RV.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 2, under issue no. 01/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a perpetual-propulsion vehicle system (100) and method (200). The system (100) includes an automotive chassis (116), weight-bearing wheels (102), one or more propulsion wheels (104), an electric propulsion motor (108), a perpetual power generator (112), a high-diameter flywheel (114) and a manual actuation pedal (106). The automotive chassis (116) supports a plurality of weight-bearing wheels (102) configured to support a load of a vehicle and to provide steering and braking functionality. The propulsion wheels (104) are mounted beneath chassis (116) and configured to protrude downward toward a road surface. The perpetual power generator (112) is configured to generate power indefinitely once set in motion to provide continuous current. The perpetual power generator (112) is configured such that, once the flywheel (114) is set in motion, continuous rotation of the flywheel (114) and a spindle wheel produces sustained electrical power sufficient for vehicle propulsion via the propulsion wheels (104)."
