MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011192 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'person lifting device for swimming pools.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Abinash Mahapatro.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A person lifting device for swimming pools a rectangular base 101 having a plurality of hydraulic pushers provided with sharp motorized helical flaps 102 for a rigid fastening of the base 101 on the ground surface, a tactile sensor detects hardness of ground surface, an L-shaped telescopic having a chair assembly 104 via telescopic links for raising/lowering a user sitting in the chair from/into swimming pool, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 105 determine distance of user from edge of the swimming pool, a cuboidal chamber 106 stores clothes, a rectangular plate 107 for an opening or closing of the chamber 106, and a telescopic gripper 108 for a retrieving clothes from the chamber 106."
