MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541009555 A) filed by Cropnosys (INDIA) Private Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Feb. 5, 2025, for 'pesticidal formulation and a process for its preparation.'
Inventor(s) include Puranik, Shriniketan; and Naik, Dhananjay.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a pesticidal formulation and a process for its preparation. The pesticidal formulation comprises at least three surfactants, a first natural repellent, a second natural repellent, a thickener and an ovicidal agent. The pesticidal formulation of the present disclosure is effective against pests of Pseudococcidae, particularly, mealy bugs. Further, the process for the preparation of a pesticidal formulation is simple, economic and commercially scalable."
