MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517078945 A) filed by Syngenta Crop Protection Ag, Basel, Switzerland, on Aug. 20, for 'pesticidally active bicyclic compounds.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method for combating and/or controlling an animal pest to (i) reduce damage on a plant, which comprises applying to the pest, to a locus of the pest, or to a plant susceptible to attack by the pest, an effective amount of either compound of formula (I) or formula (II); or (ii) protect plant propagation material, which comprises treating the propagation material or the site, where the propagation material is planted, with an effective amount of either compound of formula (I) or formula (II); wherein the compound of formula (I) and formula (II) are (I) (II) wherein the substituents are as defined in claim 1, and the agrochemically acceptable salts, stereoisomers, enantiomers, tautomers and N-oxides of those compounds."
The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 06, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/052850.
