MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007789 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 5, 2024, for 'pesticide dispensing device.'
Inventor(s) include Ashutosh Pattanaik.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pesticide dispensing device, comprising a cuboidal hollow body 1 accommodated by a user on back portion while standing inside an agricultural field, a detachable lid 3 accessed by user to fill pesticide solution, a level sensor detecting quantity of the solution for actuating a speaker 10 for notifying user to refill the solution, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 4 capturing images of field that is processed by microcontroller for evaluating a 3D mapping that is displayed over a touch interactive display panel 5 that is accessed by user for selecting a portion that user desired to get dispensed for actuating a holographic projector 6 for assisting user to move over field for actuating an electronic nozzle 7 for dispensing solution on crops, a handle 8 attached provides a grip to user for adjust positioning of nozzle 7 while dispensing solution."
