MUMBAI, India, June 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414096632 A) filed by Xiamen Lanxu Intelligent Technology Co. Ltd., Fujian, China, on Dec. 6, 2024, for 'photovoltaic panel cleaning device with a self-adaptive roller brush.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The utility model relates to a photovoltaic panel cleaning device with a self- adaptive roller brush. The photovoltaic panel cleaning device includes a frame assembly, a roller brush, a driving assembly, a first adjustment assembly, a second adjustment assembly and a control unit. The roller brush is arranged on the frame assembly and driven by the driving assembly. The first adjustment assembly includes a second driving unit, a first sensor and a first sliding group. The first sensor can acquire the distance between a lower frame and a surface of the photovoltaic panel. The control unit controls the second driving unit to drive the roller brush to move a distance along a second direction according to the acquisition result of the first sensor. The other end of the roller brush is slidably connected to the upper frame via the second sliding group, thereby realizing the movement of the whole roller brush in the second direction, namely the precise adaptive adjustment of the roller brush in the second direction."
