MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019647 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 16, 2024, for 'pin and bush installation/uninstallation assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Arvind Kumar; and Dr. Kanhaiya Lal.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pin and bush installation/uninstallation assistive device includes a platform 1 arranged with a display panel 2 to select an installation/uninstallation operation to be performed with a pin and bush coupling on a gadget, an imaging unit 3 determines gadget's dimensions, in case of installation operation, a microcontroller evaluates an appropriate position on gadget where coupling is to be installed, a laser emitter 4 emits laser light on evaluated position to guide user to grip and position a pin and bush coupling at evaluated position, two clamps 6 connected via a rod 7 arranged on platform 1, a bar 8 integrated amid platform 1 and clamps 6 extends for positioning clamps 6 amid pin and bush coupling, a heating element 9 integrated on each clamps 6 heat ends of coupling, a power screw 10 is assembled on one of clamps 6 for affixing coupling on gadget."
