MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531018766 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 3, for 'pipe cleaning device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pipe cleaning device, comprising a rectangular base 101 having four motorized omnidirectional wheels 102 underneath base 101 for a locomotion of base 101 inside a pipe, base 101 is configured with a drawer mechanism for adjusting dimensions of base 101 as per inner diameter of pipe, a tank 103 disposed on base 101 for storing a cleaning solution, a nozzle 104 connected with a pump 105 in tank 103 via a conduit for spraying cleaning solution onto inner surface of pipe, an L-shaped telescopic link 106 attached on a sliding unit 107 via a secondary ball and socket joint, sliding unit 107 installed on base 101, a motorized brush 108 is configured at an end of link 106 for scrubbing inner surface of pipe for cleaning, an imaging unit 109, installed on base 101 to determine debris in pipe."
