MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517098734 A) filed by Hkc Corporation Limited, Guangdong, China, on Oct. 13, for 'pixel structure and display panel.'

Inventor(s) include Jiang, Lei; and Li, Rongrong.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application relates to the technical field of display. Provided are a pixel structure and a display panel. The pixel structure comprises a plurality of sub-pixels. With regard to each sub-pixel, the sub-pixel comprises a cathode overlapping unit (60). The cathode overlapping unit (60) comprises an isolation pillar (61), a conductive unit (62) and an eave structure (63), which are arranged from bottom to top, wherein an extension direction of a metal line formed by means of the conductive unit (62) is perpendicular to a first direction, the first direction being an evaporation direction of a display panel; the isolation pillar (61) is located above an anode of the sub-pixel; a light-emitting layer (40) of the sub-pixel covers the anode and the isolation pillar (61); and a cathode of the sub-pixel covers the light-emitting layer (40) and overlaps with the conductive unit (62). A pixel boundary layer (70) is provided between adjacent sub-pixels. The pixel boundary layer (70) comprises a pixel definition layer (71), a boundary conductive layer (72), and an eave structure (73), which are arranged from bottom to top, wherein the conductive unit (62) is connected to the boundary conductive layer (72). The technical solution provided in the present application can improve an overlapping effect of a pixel cathode and a boundary conductive layer (72), thereby improving the product yield."

The patent application was internationally filed on May 30, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CN2023/097150.
