MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012485 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 21, 2024, for 'plastic recycling device for manufacturing bristles.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A plastic recycling device for manufacturing bristles, comprising a housing 1 configured with multiple rods 2 that provides support to the housing 1, a suction cup 3 to secure the housing 1, a chamber 5 for storing plastic bottles, an inlet 6 to insert the bottles inside the chamber 5, a display panel 4 to input details regarding number of bristles desires to manufacture, a motorized conveyor 7 for translating the bottles from the chamber 5 to a container 8, a motorized shredder 9 for shredding the bottles into small pieces, a heating unit 10 for melting the bottles to form a plastic paste, an electronic nozzle 11 for dispensing the paste inside a moulding compartment 12, a pneumatic pin assembled inside the compartment 12 for extending to expel manufactured bristles and an outlet 17 for enabling the user to collect the manufactured bristles."
