MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411014297 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'pollution controlling device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Pradeep Gaur; Dr. Mohit; Ayush Shah; and Esha.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a pollution controlling device, includes a U-shaped frame having a first 1 and second portion 2 installed on a lamp post connected with each other via an extendable hollow pipe 3, an artificial intelligence based image capturing module 5 linked with microcontroller and installed on first 1 portion to determine height of lamp post, a tactile sensor integrated on pipe, plurality of suction units 4 configured on pipe, plurality of pollution sensor integrated within both first 1 and second portions 2 for determining pollution level of surroundings, plurality of sprinklers 6 configured on both first 1 and second portion 2, a chamber 8 interlinked with frame to store water and supply to first 1 and second portion 2 via a conduct, a motorized blower 7 installed on frame."
