MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517065926 A) filed by Mitsubishi Engineering-Plastics Corporation, Tokyo, on July 10, for 'polycarbonate resin composition.'
Inventor(s) include Mochida, Satoshi.
The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This polycarbonate resin composition comprises (A) 55-90 mass% of a polycarbonate resin having a viscosity average molecular weight of 17,500-30,000; and (B)10-45 mass% of a graft copolymer including (b1) an aromatic vinyl monomer component, (b2) a vinyl cyanide monomer component, and (b3) a diene-based rubbery polymer component. The polycarbonate resin composition comprises (C) 0.001-0.3 parts by mass of an aryl phosphine oxide and (D) 0.001-0.3 parts by mass of a compound having a phenolic structure, based on 100 parts by mass of (A) and (B) in total. The polycarbonate resin composition is characterized in that the compound (D) having a phenolic structure contains at least one of 4-t-butylphenol, 2,4-di-t-butylphenol, 4-a-cumylphenol, and bisphenol A."
The patent application was internationally filed on Sept. 06, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/032448.
