MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024878 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'portable dust suppression device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A portable dust suppression device, comprising an inverted U-shape frame 1 including a pair of vertical hydraulic actuators 9 interconnected with each or via a horizontal plate 2, developed to be positioned on a ground surface, multiple wheels configured beneath actuators 9 to maneuver frame 1, a push button 3 is pressed by user for generating a command regarding activation of device, a tactile sensor fabricated on frame 1, multiple of pneumatic pins 4 to extend within surface, a camera 5 for positioning plate 2 above vehicle, a canister to dispense a coating solution, a motor integrated with hinge for tilting canister to dispense coating solution over a crushing raw material loaded on vehicle in view of suppressing dust generated from material."
