MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007504 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 3, 2024, for 'portable rescue device for buildings.'

Inventor(s) include Deepanshu Singh Satwaliya.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A portable rescue device for buildings, comprising a rectangular frame 1 fixed on wall of balcony and connected with a hollow body 2 via a string 3 in which user is required to insert hand in body 2 via an opening 4 for gripping a handle for escaping from building, a laser acuity sensor detects dimensions of wrist, a motorized iris lid 5 closes for gripping the wrist, an inflatable member 6 inflated by an air compressor for gripping hand within body 2, a speaker 7 for notifying user to jump from balcony, a laser sensor measures height of body 2, a motorized roller 8 unwraps string 3 to enable user to jump on surface, a GPS module fetches real-time location of body 2 which is sent to a computing unit of a concerned authority to allows authority to provide necessary aid to user."
