MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517057622 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on June 16, for 'pouch-type secondary battery.'
Inventor(s) include Kim, Mi Na.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A pouch-type secondary battery according to the present invention comprises: an electrode assembly; a pouch-type case including an accommodation part in which the electrode assembly is accommodated and a sealing part which seals the accommodation part; an electrode lead connected to the electrode assembly and protruding out of the pouch-type case via the sealing part; and a lead film disposed between the electrode lead and the pouch-type case, wherein: the lead film comprises a first layer disposed on the electrode lead, a second layer disposed on the first layer, and a third layer disposed on the second layer; and the difference between moduli of elasticity of two layers selected from the first to third layers is 20% or less of the maximum value of moduli of elasticity of the first to third layers."
